Tiziana Rossetto is a Professor in Earthquake Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) at UCL where she co-directs the multi-disciplinary Research Centre, EPICentre.
ZIGGYÂ LUBKOWSKI
Associate Director, Arup
Ziggy is the leader of Arup’s seismic team based in London, with over 30 years’ experience in civil, geotechnical and earthquake engineering. He has carried out seismic design, analysis and hazard assessments for a range of structures in the energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and humanitarian sectors around the world.
Ziggy is also the Royal Academy of Engineering visiting professor in geotechnical earthquake engineering at University College London.
IAN CHANDLER
Senior Engineer at HR Wallingford
Ian Chandler is a Senior Engineer at HR Wallingford, specialising in physical and numerical modelling of coastal and hydraulic structures. Ian has led the development of HR Wallingford’s Tsunami Simulator, allowing realistic tsunamis to be generated in the laboratory.

Senior Lecturer in Water Engineering, London South Bank University
David is a physical modeller in the fields of Coastal and Ocean Engineering, sediment transport and fluid mechanics, with a particular focus on tsunamis and coastal natural hazards.

Priyan Dias has a doctorate from Imperial College, London and is a Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of Moratuwa. He is a Fellow of Sri Lanka’s National Academy of Sciences and an Associate Editor of Civil Engineering and Environmental Systems.

KUSHAN KALMITH WIJESUNDARA
Kushan Wijesundra is a senior lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya. He served as a researcher at the European Centre for Training and Research in Earthquake Engineering (EUCENTRE) in Pavia, Italy and at BRGM (French Geological Survey), Natural Risks Division in Orleans, France.
Julian Thamboo is a senior lecturer in structural engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering, at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. His research interests are in structural masonry, numerical modelling, and reliability analyses.
